Feeling blessed on my mother's birthday today ~  Feb. 27th 2013. (Born in 1916)
My Angel mother is watching over me.  Thank you, Mom, for my life and all your love and kindness. I will forever remember her last words to me after she told Roy she loved him, I asked, "Do you love me?" Her voice was almost gone, but with great strength she said, "More than you'll ever know."
Three Generations in June 1986 at the Salt Lake Temple Grounds.  I traveled from our home in
Tennessee for Grandma June "B" Bateman Catmull to hold her new granddaughter, Debra Helena Robbins.   I love you, Mom ~ Rexene June Catmull Robbins

Donny came home for the first time in over 3 years Feb. 6th for three nights. (We have traveled to CA and met other places).   He come home for Mom's cooking!  "Mom's Famous Banana Cream Pie" and Pumpkin pie.  He requested two dinners - oven fried chicken, mash potatoes and white gravy with corn and my Home made Mac and Cheese dinner with all the fixings.  In anticipation we left up Christmas for him :)

What a wonderful son we have.  Donny also wanted to make sure he saw Dr. Robbins.  He has felt sweet sensitivity and thought he had a cavity for a year.  I should have gotten a picture in the dental chair.  DX: His zealous brushing had opened his dental tubules.  Rx:  tooth paste will recap them.
The snow was starting to melt so he got in a hike to Helen Hunt Falls and recalled many good memories.
We put him to work helping Dad with an new bed we bought used for the bedroom basement.  It will be great when the Summer heats comes.  He was the first to try it out.

Three days was a short and sweet visit.  We packed in lots fun!
We love you Soooooo much Donny!  So happy that his security
business is going well and love that he enjoys teaching sharing his Country 2 Step.  Check out his video's on the Internet with

Our first  Trip in 2013 - Jan. 11-15 was to  Arizona

Friends since 1978, Mary Ann Price, met us at the Mesa Temple.
My cousin, Karleen Kelso, picked us up at the airport and took us for a Thai lunch in Scottsdale.
When she was 14 and I was 6  she baby sat me and my sisters when Mom was in the hospital having baby brother, Curt.   Now we are the same age!  We had not been together for seven years.
Our best BYU neighbors, Mary and Steven Nelson invited us to their new home in Scottsdale, AZ.  After 30 years in Omaha, Nebraska a new job brought a new beginning. ( Picture at the wonderful MIM - google).  We are all Empty Nesters and loved catching up on the years gone by.
One of my first friends in Colorado Springs ~ 1992 ~ Jan Blomquist has moved to Surprise, AZ.  She and husband, Rod, are wonderful.  We miss them.  They do get back to visit their family.
On my sister Joyce's birthday, Jan. 14th we celebrated with her oldest daughter, Stephanie and son, Steven.  They have moved from Las Vegas to Chandler AZ.  We had fun  a "Birthday Lunch"
Arizona has a different beauty than Colorado.  It was warmer than Colorado even if it  just happen set the coldest temperatures in two decades for this time of year.  It was in the 40's and 50's during the day and did get to freezing at night.  Mary was so sad that all her blooming plants were covered with sheets and towels and we did keep our swim suits packed.  We were fine with jackets.  It was delightful.
I love doing photo journals that preserve our family history.  I share a lot of emails to family and friends and hope this will be a great place to capture past and future writings.  This will be a "discovery learning experience for me.  Hope there is a good edit button some place :)

Let's start at the beginning.  Roy and I meet June 13, 1967 after my first year at BYU.  It was love at first site for both of us but Uncle Sam had us saying "Hello's" and "Good Byes" for 2 years and 3 months.   ~ September 12th 1969 ~ Roy and I were married in the Salt Lake Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah.  This photo was at our reception, September 13th.  Roy had returned on September 1st after being gone a year during Viet Nam.  He was serving in the Air Force in Greece, ten miles from Russian owned Bulgaria.

I have fun photos of dating I hope to add later.   Times goes so fast.  How blessed I have been to have this great guy in my life for 46 years.  For now I need to start in the present.  A New Year ~ 2013

Here we Go! A new adventure sharing Robbin's family fun!
